Hi Sharuzzaman,

No, I'm not in KL, and not expecting to be there anytime soon. I'll leave the packaging details to you then? On recollection, I did use the files from  l10n-ms to get started the first time round, but they no longer work with current versions.

Hi Bashirah,

OK, let's do this together. I'll try to find out how to properly package a dictionary and let's built a beta version to be tested by Malaysian.

You may contact me off this mailing list if you want to.

By the way, are you somewhere around KL? If you are, maybe we can have a face-to-face meeting with the open source people who might be interested to join.

Thanks.

It's finished, or at least theoretically usable.

Furthermore, and this is something I've been wondering about, it will need to be tested against a lot of texts to make sure it's actually usable, and that is not something I have. Is it better to have a small pool of testers (your team, if they are available) first or do we just put it out and fix it along?

Long time ago, we already embarked on the project to provide native Malay translation of the menu, and also dictionary for OpenOffice, but it was never completed. The project is l10n-ms in sourceforge.
