Interesting work. I thought once in augmenting the elements box with
some calculus frequent expressions such as "For all x, there exist y
such as f(x) = g(y)" with x,y,g,f,= as placeholders.

Your side-pane could be extended to gain more  panes, for more formula
disciplines (physics, chemistry, bio, other math domains, etc...). If
this is far beyond your personal endeavour, please leave the door open
for easy hacks.
