Hello everyone,

I am really glad to hear that I've been selected as one of the students to
hack on LibreOffice this summers in GSOC '13 and sincerely express my
heartily gratitude to all the community members for the same!

I'll be hacking LibreOffice to Improve toolbars in LibreOffice and making
them more usable, with the precious support of my mentor Jan Holesovsky
(Kendy). Here is my
proposal<http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/proposal/review/google/gsoc2013/elixir3192/1>for
reference, which states a broad approach for the same idea. I'll be
framing a more rigorous approach for the same by starting the hands-on
working now, and shall discuss every concerned point regarding the
implementation of the idea in accordance with the guidelines and assistance
of my mentor, Kendy and other community hackers whenever needed.

I've thoroughly read the message given in the GSOC acknowledgement mail, in
the guidelines section under the 'Community Bonding Period' and shall make
the best use of it by abiding them. Furthermore, to accept the truth, right
now I've not been in habit of writing blogs but I'll soon start them and
I'll be updating this mail, by providing my blog-report links.

As mentioned on my proposal, my (contact) phone number is +91-7878778863
and I'll be present in Gandhinagar, India (UTC+5:30) throughout my hacking
summer.
In addition, I am found by the name ''elixir' on IRC.

Said so, now I'll be getting in touch of my mentor, Kendy to start the fun
hacking summer at the earliest possibility so that I can provide the
community, the best possible out of me!

Please feel free to provide to me any suggestions and advice.
Once again, thanks a lot, time for some real hacking!

Sincerely,
Prashant Pandey
