Digital Signing a document with an Elliptic Curve certificate on Ubuntu 12.04

Hi,

 

On Ubuntu 12.04 with LibreOffice 3.5.7.2 I fail to digitally sign a document using an ECC certificate.

I tried loading such a pfx to firefox' software token and it appears on the list of available certificates for signing - however, I cannot sign any document with it. 

RSA based certificates work fine.

 

Is it a known issue?
