mbNoXORClipping - what's this needed for?

Hi all,

There is a data structure ImplGetSVData which holds a boolean variable
mbNoXORClipping.

This is only used by one function OutputDevice::DrawGradient()

The only platform that seems to need it is OS X - it was set to true in
commit 02d2ca1fcdb878ed3fca6d98944cd51653f75c9d in 2008.

All that is referenced in the commit message is "2008/07/21 12:16:01 pl
1.52.8.1: #158236# solve clipping problems", but I genuinely don't know
what these problems were.

Could anyone give any insight into this?
