Did you by chance build without --enable-dbgutil, then updated, then
configured with --enable-debug and --enable-dbgutil and issued make
again, without make clean? You have to make clean when switching between
"normal" build and an --enable-dbgutil build, they are binary
incomatible builds. Btw, you don't need extra --enable-debug with
--enable-dbgutil.
