"CRASH when select slide with NPAPI plug-in object in Slides pane" for a
reference to a real-world document that embedded PDFs into Impress slides.
So what we should provide LO users with is easy access to the URL of the
plugin content that cannot be displayed, e.g., by displaying some
"content not available" icon and a hyperlink. (This would not only be
useful after we remove NPAPI support, but also today when a relevant
plugin cannot be found or refuses to work with LO's dated NPAPI
implementation.)
