How many degrees of headlessness do we need?

On Mac we have the env variable VCL_HIDE_WINDOWS
connected to 'PseudoHeadless'
the poor man version of headless achieved my preventing any Windows of 'showing'

I added that to avoid the very annoying 'flashing' when the unit test
are running on Mac.
