Hanan (and others): please don't assign yourself to this and please don't
change the status.

Of course we would not want to ban a contributor, but technically you are
violating our policy by ignoring our requests to stop assigning this to
yourself:

This is also causing major spam to the developer list due to this being an easy
hack.
