Trying to build LO on OS X: problem with make operation

Hello, I am attempting to build LibreOffice on OSX, using the directions for minimal build on the Building LibreOffice on OS X web page (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/BuildingOnMac <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/BuildingOnMac>).

I got most of the way through the directions, but when I executed make 2>&1 | tee build.log, the make operation did not complete. Here is where it stopped:

I  don’t know what Error 1 means or what I’m doing wrong here. Any help appreciated.
