- open a new writer doc
- edit->track changes->record
- type "asdf"
- edit->track changes->manage

On the "list" tab there is table with a single row. Right click on it->
edit comment.

I think the above term refers to the string you enter there.

So it's a string manually and optionally attached to an automatically
generated tracked change.
