HTML import filter very (too) basic

Hi,

I think that the attached image says it all (LibreOffice 6.1.3.2). It looks like the HTML import is really very simple, and does not apply CSS to the content of div or span elements. In the example/test file there are a few paragraphs nested inside of a div and inherit the color of the div while overriding the font. Also, the initial paragraph starts with a span to italicize text.

So I guess my questions are:

1. Is there somebody who owns the HTML import, and if so, who? Looking at https://github.com/LibreOffice/core/tree/master/sw/source/filter/html, it seems that there is some development by several people.

2. Should I file a bug with https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/ to have this problem looked into? Is there interest to address this at all?

3. How does the px to pt conversion work in this context: depending on DPI? (See e.g. http://pttopx.com/)

It’s a somewhat pressing matter, actually… 🤓

Cheers,
Jens
