Replacement for NumberOfLines in BarDiagram

Under

com::sun::star::chart::BarDiagram

'NumberOfLines' has been deprecated:

but there is no suggested replacement. What should I be using instead? The
GUI has a chart type called 

'Column and Line'

but I don't see anything in the documentation supporting that.
