New options "Hide" and "With condition" in the bookmark dialog unclear

The two functions were added for bug 101856 "MAILMERGE Add conditional to expand / collapse bookmarks" (which is still open) but lack on documentation and are not self-explanatory. The issue has been raised in bug 128252 but so far we have got no feedback. 

Please help.
