My understanding is that in almost all cases this is not intentional,
rather stems from starting to test some code which was not covered
previously. And doing the first test in an area is always harder than
doing the 42th one. :-)

Also, the last cursor problem you ran into is ideally nicely
DPI-independent; at the moment it's not understood why the logic size of
the cursor depends on the DPI. If you have time to investigate that, it
would be welcome.
