So, as someone who actually implemented this highly (x2) experimental
thing, I have no clue whether you could use it to perform anything
similar to Data streaming functionality in Excel.  I didn't even
realize Excel had such feature.

It only takes csv format, and nothing else, assuming that no
improvements have been made to it after it was initially developed back
in ... long enough ago.

In all honesty, it could probably take a good UI overhaul, and some
effort to morph this experiment into a bit more usable feature.
