Code to differentiate macOS versions

Hi! :)

To properly solve bug 133214 (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133214) I need a way to differentiate between macOS versions. Can you give me a hint how to find out if the user is using  a version prior to Big Sur?
