About 7.0 and trying to fix some stuck issues

Hello,

I noticed next release will be 7.0 instead of 6.5 (see

for details).

Just for sake of correctness, could it be the occasion to fix at last some
of the cases indicated here:

?
(of course with appropriate release notes)

PS: I don't expect much but major releases are not so often, 8.0 will be in
2 years at least (if LO keeps the same pace),  so I'm giving a try.
