That output likely is not helpful in finding out what exactly got stuck. 
  You appear to be on Windows, where doing `ps` in another Cygwin shell 
should give a list of all running Cygwin processes, which would be of 
interest here.  (`pstree` might also be available on Cygwin, but I don't 
know.)
