Gradient background for Calc cells

Hi,

I would like to point out that the current ODF 1.3 file format does 
neither allow gradients for cells nor for complete tables. Therefore, 
whoever wants to implement gradients must -ideally before 
implementation- develop a concept of how the file format can be extended 
in a meaningful way. As we have seen with the introduction of gradients 
in other places, this is not trivial and not yet satisfactorily solved
