Windows 10 prerequisite for 7.2.0? (so abandon Windows 7 and avoid Windows 8)

Sadly I don't see it as realistic. Look at the market share between Win 
versions:

Let's revisit the topic in January 2023. If the downward trend continues 
at the same rate, Win 7 might have a small enough market share by then 
to justify dropping support.
