UI test logging not working

Hi,

Using my own build (64312cdae5d810dd02ef4c2a4d51b3d30cd6ac6e), it works 
fine on Linux.

This is my autogen: --without-help --disable-odk --enable-debug 
--enable-assert-always-abort --enable-python=fully-internal 
--without-system-libxml --enable-werror
