Then I started to work on it with sending first patchsets as WIP: <a moz-do-not-send="true" href="https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/119685">https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/119685</a> I realized that Calc has diagonal borders feature in both "Format > Cells... > Borders tab" and (Sidebar Tab) "Properties > Cell Appearance".
