<p class="gmail-text-left gmail-mb-4">For this week, my top 
priority is to make the new Histogram chart type selectable from the UI<span class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif">.</span></p><p class="gmail-text-left gmail-mb-4">Initially, it will be a working copy of the existing basic bar/column 
chart type. </p><p class="gmail-text-left gmail-mb-4"><span class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif"></span>Then, I'll make the required changes with each passing 
iteration.</p>

in science, engineering, and finance, where data visualization plays a 
crucial role. Working on this project allows me to connect with my 
family's work and explain my contributions in a meaningful way.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif">Second, while preparing the proposal report I came across that the <b>CERN</b> also uses the LibreOffice for their work is doing a work around because of no native support of these new chart types. (<a href="https://indico.cern.ch/event/977476/contributions/4204938/attachments/2191304/3703670/EN-Plotting-a-histogram-in-libreoffice.pdf" target="_blank">https://indico.cern.ch/event/977476/contributions/4204938/attachments/2191304/3703670/EN-Plotting-a-histogram-in-libreoffice.pdf</a>) which was the point where I can see the impact of this task. Not only this <i>IndiaMart</i>, a prominent B2B marketplace where my friends work told me that it also uses LibreOffice.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif">Seeing the potential impact of this project on real-world users was a significant motivator for me. This project checks all the right boxes for me.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif">I have been impressed by the LibreOffice community and documentation,
