<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear Rolf,</div><div><br></div><div>Likely updating your LibreOffice version to the latest bug fix release, i.e. version 24.2.7 or 24.8.7 will solve this problem.</div><div><br></div><div><div>Similar problems were reported during the interoperability
developments targeting the “smart justify”, i.e. space shrinking feature of new DOCX documents
created in MS Office 2013 and later. For example, one of the old reports: <a href="https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161810">https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161810</a>. The others: <a href="https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166165">https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166165</a>. <p>Dear Sirs, I have been struggling with a problem in LibreOffice
Writer for a few months now.</p>
<p>This problem is very annoying and intolerable. What happens is
that the hyphenation marks simply disappear when printing or
converting to PDF. This problem occurred for me in both English
and German. Below I have included two printouts, one of the text
in Writer, and another after converting to PDF. The error occurs
because the hyphenation marks are being positioned AFTER the page
margin.</p>
<p>Because of this, I am forced to turn off hyphenation, which is
not good.</p>
<p>Kind regards.</p>

<p>Here in the PDF:</p>
<p>Notice how the sign disappears in the word "different"<br>
