[Libva] the relation of vaapi and xvmc

Dear everyone,

when i use mplayer-vaapi to play a mpeg-ts file, then output is as follows.
 
VO: [vaapi] 720x576 => 768x576 MPEG-2 VA API Acceleration 
[VD_FFMPEG] XVMC-accelerated MPEG-2.
 
VAAPI and xvmc should be different accelerated  methods for linux? 
why do vaapi make use of xvmc?
