Just to make sure I have that hunk, I patched drm-intel-next from 
scratch using the 5 separate patches from your link. But my system was 
still frozen for some movies. And I did not have a chance to capture any 
log because the system was dead in no time. So please look into it. Let 
me know if I could provide any info.
