Hey guys!

We're currently trying to use libva together with mplayer to accelerate
our video playback.

Our platform uses the Intel Atom CPU together with Intel Poulsbo chipset.
The video driver we use is IEGD 10.3 Beta and our Linux distribution is
based on Fedora 10.

The problem we see is that when the display is rotated (via options in
xorg.conf to IEGD) the video playback gets pixelized. It's clearly visible
that the scale filters have been disabled, i.e. the scaling employs a
simple nearest neighbour algorithm.

I've pointed out this problem to our premier support at Intel, but they
sent me to you instead:

"Hello,

Have you contacted the Linux community about this issue? We handle the
IEGD driver portion of the graphics in this group. Here's a link to the
VA-API site. There are forums that could be accessed as well as contact
information at the bottom of the page:

http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/vaapi

Kind Regards"

Can you guys shine any light on this problem?

Kind regards,
