I suggest you could use avcenc in test/encode.

Best regards.

Subject: [Libva] h264encode sample code crashes

Hi all,

The sample code for h264 encoding is not working on my Intel Core i7-2620M ( Intel HD Graphics 3000 ).

./h264encode -w 320 -h 240 -n 10
libva: libva version 0.32.0
libva: va_getDriverName() returns 0
libva: Trying to open /usr/local/lib/dri/i965_drv_video.so
libva: va_openDriver() returns 0
Coded 10 frames, 320x240, save the coded file into /tmp/demo.264

lt-h264encode: i965_drv_video.c:1511: i965_EndPicture: Assertion `obj_context->codec_state.enc.seq_param' failed.
      |00000000(I)(120000 bytes coded)

Any insight on what the cause of the problem is ?

Thanks, Sammy

PS:
( I am using http://intellinuxgraphics.org/2011Q3.html release on Fedora 16 64bit)
