[Libva] GPU Hangcheck

Is there a chance that the "GPU Hangcheck" issues with vaapi will ever be
fixed ?
I saw on the ML that Daniel Vetter started to sort it out, but then
suddenly stopped.

At the moment i use a G440 Intel CPU. Using libva and the intel git video
drivers crashing the X server imediatley.

When using glx and deinterlacing the "GPU Hangcheck" is there. The issuse
is long know but no one seems to adress it serious.

With those bugs the intel platform seems more a theoretical concept for
VAAPI than realy usable for production.

P.S.: Sorry to be rude. But the VAAPI situation is realy frustrating.
