Hi,

A new test version of the Open Source GStreamer plug-ins with VA-API
support is now available at:

Version 0.5.0.pre1 - 18.Dec.2012
* Optimize H.264 decoder by up to +20%
* Use GstVideoDecoder API for vaapidecode (+Sreerenj Balachandran)
* Add support for raw YUV buffers in vaapisink (+Halley Zhao)
* Fix memory leak in GstVaapiVideoBuffer for images and surfaces (Feng Yuan)

This is from the unstable branch (master). For stable releases, please
consider the 0.4-branch instead.

Known issues:
* GstVideoDecoder API from upstream "0.10" git branch is needed ;
* Only the H.264 decoder was tested. Other decoders may show regressions ;
* MPEG-2, MPEG-4, VC-1 and JPEG decoders still require updates and
optimizations wrt. the new APIs used.

This is a prelude to GStreamer 1.0 support integration. Other API/ABI
incompatible changes may occur in the future.
