I could not backport all of them, but just the most significant ones.
i.e. only bug fixes are backported, not features.

Yes, I try to maintain at most two branches. However, I expect people
to migrate to 0.6.0 when it comes out after the 0.5.x cycle. :)
Besides, 0.5.x normally works equally well vs. 0.4.x series except for
the MPEG-4:2 decoder for now.

If you think more fixes can be backported, just send a patch. However,
please make sure they work first. I was planning a 0.4.2 release but I
have no feedback yet from other people concerning the Wayland fixes.
So, I did not integrate those yet.
