After some experiments with intermediate libva versions it was found
that my problem happens due to bad interaction of current Xine libs
with newer versions of libva & intel vaapi driver.
It is not reproducible with other players (tested with 'mpv -vo=vaapi').
So I am reassigning my Launchpad bug to xine-libs maintainers.
Hope you (Haihao) could add more details on your conversation with Xine people.
