[LightDM] Lightdm-webkit-greeter help

Hello, i'm new with lightdm and the lightdm-webkit altogether; It seems
great though, that i can stylize my login screen with the use of HTML,
Javascript and CSS;

I need some help making sense of the javascript functions in the index.html
from the default webkit theme so that i can start making my own (awesome)
themes. I don't seem to figure out how they actually work; If possible
(rather than explaining all those functions) can you provide me with a more
basic example, just a username and a password box with no other html
elements ?

Besides that: Can it support HTML5? and if available on the machine, can it
support Java applets and/or Flash ? (I know the last 2 are not free, but im
just wondering)
