[LightDM] How to adjust display brightness using keyboard keys?

If I remember right it only takes the name to a script - so no arguments to
it. So you need to put all you want to start as startup script in one file
and name that with it's full path as display-setup-script (in your case the
most appropriate) and let it execute xbindkeys.

I think the first one didn't work as it didn't pick the right config file
and the second failed due to the arguments-problem. Maybe to find out if at
least your script ran successfully put something like "logger
display-setup-script ran" in it so that you get a indication in the syslog.
