[LightDM] locking broken in lightdm >=1.7.5 blocks light-locker release

Regarding release dates. Since LightDM is effectively linked to the Ubuntu
release schedule 1.8 will be out no later than Ubuntu 13.10 final freeze
(10 October 2013). Serious bugs should be fixed before feature freeze (29th
August 2013).
