[LightDM] Starting multiseat in lightdm.conf fails

Hi,
Using ubuntu 12.10 with default lightdm v1.4.0 and default unity-greeter.

Please can someone help.


I am certain that my xorg.conf and lightdm.conf are correct because if I 
uncomment Seat0 and comment out Seat1 then the correct monitor comes up 
and is fully usable.
Likewise if I comment out Seat0 and uncomment Seat1 it also works (on 
the other kyb/monitor/mouse).

When I uncomment both Seat0 and Seat1 then nothing comes up and I get a 
banner message on Seat0 screen:
"The system is running in low graphics mode"
"Your Screen, Graphics card and input device settings could not be 
detected correctly. You will need to configure them yourself"


I can see no errors in /var/log/ Xorg.0.log (and .1.log)
nor in any of the /var/log/lightdm/*   files
