[LightDM] [1.6.0 and 1.7.2] user session stops immediately

I have startxfce4 because in OP:

(~/.xinitrc is symlink to ~/.xsession)

But I understand now what is happening in my case.
My $PATH is set in /etc/profile because /etc/environment doesnt expand 
${var}
GDM someway reads /etc/profile, unclear why

So I have three options now:
1 /etc/environment
2. ~/.bashrc
3. full path in /usr/share/xsessions/xfce.desktop
