I meant through C code inside the greeter, using lightdm-gobject calls or signals. :)

Hi,
I'm customizing the power menu, adding "Exit Display Manager..." to get back
to text console.
I tried issuing a sigsend SIGQUIT to the parent pid of the greeter, but
doesn't work.
What is a correct way to tell lightdm to quit?
BTW I could patch lightdm to support Solaris RBAC and allow for shutdown and
reboot through HAL
dbus. :)
Thanks!
Gabriele
