I've already asked in both askubuntu.com and unix.stackoverflow.com, but there
have been NO reponses (in over a week!). I've also posted to the ubuntu user's
mailing list as well. I'm thinking I've hit a problem that no one else has
encountered. It seems that 99% of ubuntu users only ever have one user
configured, and I am the only person with the totall strange (?) idea of
having ubuntu systems with multiple users AND wanting automatic logins AND
wanting the option to not use the automatic login on a selective basis.

I am also used to the CentOS mailing list where even pretty obscure questions
get quicker responses...
