FYI, two things have changed since your announcement, a recent
beta of the Illumos-based XStreamOS[1] now uses LightDM (so LightDM
has been ported to a Solaris-based platform which will never
support systemd) and ConsoleKit is now being maintained again by
an Xfce developer[2].
