[LightDM] lightdm sometimes kicks me out after autologin

Robert,
After many days of investigating this and getting nowhere, I decided to pull the plug on using a display manager. I still have autologin to my MATE desktop, but am no longer using a display manager of any kind. My last post in this thread describes what I did: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=199702
