Hi Xm,
It depends on which greeter you use. Assuming you are using Unity Greeter
(the default in Ubuntu) then this feature is not currently supported [1].
I'm not aware of any other greeter implementing this. You can work-around
this however by running a script when the greeter starts (see bug for
details) or by modifying PAM to display a message before the password
prompt (but this will not necessarily be formatted as you would like).
