[LightDM] Switching users

Hello All,
I'm using lightdm-1.10.5-2 with XFCE 4.12 on a Fedora Core 22 machine. When
I try to switch users via the command "dm-tool switch-to-greeter", all I
get is a flickering text tty and a pegged hard drive light. I can get my
original XFCE session back if I keep pressing CTL-ALT-F1 repeatedly but the
login screen does not appear.

I think this is a problem light lightdm but I'm not sure. Do you guys have
any ideas on how to trouble shoot this problem?

BTW To rule out hardware issues, I tried user switching with Gnome3/gdm and
XFCE/gdm and both worked.
