Hello,

looking in the lightdm log I noticed that in my old laptop the xserver needs ca 16sec to start

Is it possible to start the xserver independently form lightdm in a form that lightdm get the right signal that xserver is already running? (ie setting a new systemd service)

if yes ==> must the lightdm configuration be changed so that lightdm doesn't start Xserver?

Thanks in advance

Jose Bartolome
