[LightDM] lightdm and Kodi

Hi folks,

I'm new to lightdm and am running Arch Linux on my laptop.

I have installed lightdm and the default greeter (lightdm-gtk-greeter) 
as recommended in the arch wiki for lightdm.

The greeter is working fine and enables me to login after a reboot.

BUT, after logging in, Kodi comes on screen and I cannot find how to 
disable this. I am only wanting a simple desktop with a terminal, to 
enable me to run Teamviewer 14.

Could someone explain to me how to accomplish this, please. I have 
googled a lot but cannot find how to stop Kodi opening !
