[LightDM] Compile and test without installing

Hello, I'm forked the project.
Right now I'm trying to compile it with my changes and try it with `lightdm
--test-mode --debug`
To compile I've run `./autogen.sh` than `make`.
Where the binaries are outputed?
Does lightdm just load `.o` files?
Is there some way to run `lightdm --test-mode --debug` with some other
parameter, so it runs with my greeter modifications?
