Hi Wolfgang,

LightDM doesn't control ctrl-alt-backspace - it is controlled by the X server configuration or can be controlled by a greeter or session. I suspect in your case your session is enabling it in your XKB configuration. The greeter you are using has not enabled it. The following link might give you more information:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/10622/how-can-i-enable-ctrlaltbackspace

On Fri, 6 May 2016 at 01:22 Wolfgang Baudler <wbaudler@gb.nrao.edu> wrote:

I noticed that ctrl-alt-backspace is ignored when lightdm is displaying
the login greeter, even so it is enabled on the X server.

As soon as I login it works again.

Why is this happening and is there a way to enable ctrl-alt-backspace for
lightdm? Thanks.
