[Mesa-dev] Mesa releases in early January?

It seems that new development in master has slowed a bit, so how does a
7.10 release on January 7th sound?  If we're going to do that, we'll
want to make the 7.10 branch on, say, December 8th.  That's roughly a
week from now.

While we're at it, we should go ahead and do a 7.9.1 release.  The 7.9
branch should be in good shape, but I think there are a lot of patches
that still need to be cherry-picked back.  I've been keeping the commit
e-mail messages, so I have a list of commits that are marked as
candidates and some that are not.  I'll post that in the next day or so.
