[Mesa-dev] llvmpipe perf regression

Hi Dave,

llvmpipe is running gears at about half speed for me since your commit:

While gears shows a big slowdown, other demos like cubemap and engine 
seem unchanged.

I haven't investigated to see exactly what the issue is.
